Kidney Cancer is another that has symptoms in the beginning, when my mom went in she complained of back pain, exhaustion and weight loss, she wasn't eating because of the pain, and at that point the cancerous tumor had taken over her kidney and they had to remove it. This was her last bout with cancer and knock on wood she has been cancer free since the late 80's. My Grandfather, my mom's dad also lost a kidney to cancer and his symptoms were as the tumor had grown too large to save his kidney, were the swelling of his ankles and feet. Their cancer was 1 year apart and he has been cancer free since the late 80's. As a teen watching two people I love going through this was so hard, and to go through it a year apart was so tough on all the family, we felt so helpless.
