AZUL - FABULOUS AND IN DEMAND!

I came back to SL to some incredible gowns from Azul, all for the ladies of MVW and Miss Azul!  I don't know how one person can be so creative and make gowns for the same competition, that are different and unique but Mami does it and with flair!  These are just spectacular and the fun part is now we get to wear them as well! http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/joia%20azul/128/128/28

JAHDE IN MANDARIN CREATED FOR MISS BRAZIL MVW 2012 MISS SAEED

This is my favorite new Azul gown!  I love the design, the strapless sweetheart neckline with the soft pleats, the slim fitting gown with the layers of sheer and satin Mandarin fabric that just flows like it is being orchestrated by a soft breeze, wrapping around the body and moving with such grace.  The floral accents on the shoulder, down the arm and waist, just add to the gown, highlighting the gorgeous color and drawing the eye to every element.  I really am never one for colors in this hue but as soon as I tried it on, I knew it was the one for me.  I chose a lipstick in a soft pumpkin gloss, my hair in an up do to show off the dress in its vibrant, glorious style and that was it.  Beautiful!  Jahde is available in Mandarin, champagne, Jade, Garnet, Lavender, Sapphire, onyx and pearl, Also with the colorful flowers or black, white and pink.

 

 



ANGEL IN GARNET MADE FOR MISS ECUADOR MVW 2012

 

Another spectacular gown and a bright rich red!  I love the long fitted sleeves that flow into a red and black lace, that flairs at the elbow down to the mid palm.  The lovely low cut top that folds so elegantly, the fitted bodice and skirt that like the sleeves flairs out mid thigh with the red and black lace to about four inches from the bottom of the gown where you see the sheer and red satin come through again and delicately kiss the floor.

 

The back is very low cut and scoops elegantly at the derriere, the skirt fans out in the back in a feather like pattern with frayed edges that match the sleeves, tying in all the elements to make a stunning gown.  I chose diva lipstick from Glamorize to match, and elegant up do and Monica earrings in red from Mandala. Angel comes in garnet, amethyst, coral, onyx, jade, topaz and pearl.

 

 





DIAMOND GEM IN CHAMPAGNE MADE FOR MISS BRASIL MVW 2012 MISS CEARA

 

Mami chooses such lovely colors for her gowns, Champagne is one of my favorites, it's soft but still a color you can wear in the winter months and can also transition into the spring.  The skirt on this gown is so beautiful, it looks like a delicate hand fan, flowing out, cascading folds of champagne satin falling perfectly around you drawing the eye up to the fitted strapless gown with the chocolate and white sashes that wrap you in elegance.  I chose an up do from June wave, earrings and bracelet from AI that color change in vintage metals to match earthy colors.  My lipstick is from Glamorize in chocolate. Diamond Gem comes in champagne, Aqua, garnet, Mandarin, onyx, pearl, turquoise and morganite.

 

LIGIA IN LAVANDER MADE FOR MISS VENEZUELA MVW 2012

 

Walking away for a slight moment from the rich colors to this lovely pastel, Lavender is gorgeous for the spring, if we are thinking ahead to warmer months, this beautiful gown in lavender is just right.  The satin strapless bodice with a sheer sleeveless neck line and matching gloves, falls to a skirt that has the layers of feather like material with the tattered edges that is just breathtaking!  Giving and shabby elegant look that commands attention! The way this dress moves is out of this world and must be seen!  I for one am just enamored with Ligia! Ligia comes in Lavender, aqua, champagne, garnet, coral, onyx, pearl and peridot.

 





 

PONCHITUTI IN SAPPHIRE MADE FOR MISS AZUL 2011 PONCHITUTI BOUCHER

 

This gown is just wow! When I saw it I immediately thought of a vintage gown that was both elegant and daring.  I chose the Sapphire, as I love the rich color and the black feathered ornamental piece that adorns the top and falls at the hips, just gave me that in awe moment together.  The simple sapphire gown is so elegant with white lace trim on the bottom and matching sapphire gloves, just perfect to accentuate the top without adding to much flair to overstimulate the senses.

 

This dress is candy for a vintage lover like me, you can wear it with the gorgeous bodice or without, the lovely lace top gives just a simple, vintage look that is just as stunning, simple, elegant, gorgeous!  I accessorised with jewelry from alienbear, hair from Curio and lipstick from Glamorize.
