Soraya Vaher of Violator - I am a huge fan of Violator. This lady is so innovative, creative, Sci Fi Fantasy wear, hair, shoes, now Jewelry which is absolutely a must have, such as her Haute line - Chain of Command, Aphorism, My Fetish, All the Forbidden Things. I find myself in awe at the couture like Lady of the Wolves, Butterfly Legere, one of my very favorites, Poison Plum and Scream of the Raptor footwear, Gorgeous wedding gown, It happens on a beautiful day. Mariska Simons of Blacklace - My dream since coming to SL and discovering Blacklace is to be one of her models! You look at their pictures and they are the epitome of sexy! Curvy, sexy, gorgeous, the lingerie is to die for! Her attention to detail, style, the textures look like they would feel, and when you put Blacklace on your Avi you can almost feel it touch your skin! I love her playfulness too, the sexy, cute costumes, little sets and then you move to her naughty side, the leather! She makes looking sexy, feeling sexy! I know that when I put on Blacklace it is just as much a gift for me as for the man in my life! And you know I wear it just for me too! I love to style it, wear it for photos, or just lounging! They really are some of my most favorite pieces in my wardrobe, I sometime have to remind myself to put on other clothes to go out lol! Mariska is a very talented lady, she is so fun, sweet and so generous, she does a lot for various causes in SL! I'm so excited for valentines day this year, I cant wait to see what she puts out for all you lucky, lucky men in SL!!! She has a new venture making SL corsets for RL's Vollers, which speaks volumes for her incredible talent! Simone Stern of Simone - Simone is one of SL's most prominent designers, I'm willing to bet she has been a mentor and or an inspiration for many designers. Simone is a place I love to shop for my signature look, the classic, old Hollywood glamor. She has the most amazing gowns! Her talent just amazes me and the amount of clothing this lady can produce!!! I sometimes wonder if she sleeps! She has everything from gowns to casuals, costumes, goth wear, wedding gowns,shoes, lingerie, men's wear in her Style Starts Here brand, you name she makes it! My absolute favorite gown is Hollywood, I own all the colors lol, it is so glamorous. You can see yourself sitting a smokey bar, listening to Jazz and looking at all the beautiful women dressed to the nines, the men, looking like classic gangster during Prohibition, yes! Simone brings back that era to a T! Some of my favorites from Simone are Mariana, Paden, Joie De Vivre, Hecate Lasace, Mata Hari skirt and belt, Airlia, glam sundress. Her wedding gowns are so gorgeous and Whitney is my favorite, as her formal gowns are she gives you skirt choices making your special day so wonderful. Squinternet Larnia of Donna Flora - Squinternet Larnia! Another wonderful designer after my heart! Her vintage collections are soo beautiful! If you love vintage this really is a designer you must try! She brings you back to the era of Lana Turner, Marilyn Monroe, Betty Paige, so many gorgeous pinup girls and the classic beauties like Faye Dunaway, Ingrid Bergman and Ginger Rogers. The gowns, hair, shoes, jewelry! I could spend hours marveling her work! She has an assortment of lovely things, she made Fauve Beaumonts incredible MVW national costume called Reine. Some of my favorites are Darlene, Velvet Dress, Miss G, Beba, Giulia, Gold Spring, Liv, Ofelia, just to name a few! She has really captured the vintage market by the tail and continues to produce some of SL's most beautiful pieces! You really don't need to go anywhere to add pieces to your ensemble as the hair, shoes and jewelry are a perfect compliment to any outfit. I am waiting to see what she does next, 2011 will be a great year for Donna Flora! Callie Cline of Callie Cline (CC) - Callie, she is such a wonderful person! I was very fortunate to meet her during MVW. She has some of the best pants in SL! They make your booty look sooo good! This sweet, talented designer's designs are so fun! She adds a lot of sexy, whimsy and sparkle and this really draws my attention to what she has to off the fashion industry in SL. She made our lovely swimsuits for MVW in 4 beautiful colors, the suit itself was beautiful and so fun to style! Some of my favorite CC designs are Fly away, ugly duckling, Dressing Venus, The Bubble, Rainboa, which are peacock feathers!, Rebel Rebel Pants, Callie Cline Jeans, just to name a few! Kikunosuke Eel of Mandala - This incredibly versatile and stylish jewelry collection has definitely taken SL by storm! You see it everywhere and with good reason! IT IS AMAZING! I must confess that I am a Mandala addict! I own so much and I love it! This jewelry says volumes, it is not just an accessory, it is a statement! Seriously you could be naked with this jewelry on and all people would notice is the jewelry! Some of my favorite pieces are, well all of it lol really, Pearl Rain, Sinra,Kagetora, Takara bangles and nails, Lotus, Amida. There are lots of choices that fit anything in your wardrobe, there are male pieces and unisex as well. You have to come and experience Mandala for yourself, be prepared to be hooked! Cereberus Noel of G Fields - This little gem of a store has so many little treasures and this very talented designer has so much to celebrate! Not only did they create a lovely gown for MVW's Ruby O' Kelly, Miss Singapore, but the shoes and boots are so great! I discovered G fields at the shoe fair, falling in love with the Ribbon slingbacks which can be worn with or without the ribbon on the front of the shoe or the back, and the very sexy wedge, the Knot Wedge Sandal that looks like a silky ballet shoe. Since then I have visited the store and found the amazing boots, clothing and jewelry too! Some of my favorites include, the knee high, Lady Rose Boots, the short lace up boots and the knee high, long fur cuff boots. The clothing designs that I love are cocktail dress, Stella and the mermaid dress, Layla, the fairy dresses. the Maxi dress and the off shoulder chiffon tops. Stiletto Moody of Stiletto Moody - What can you say that hasn't already been said about one of SL's Style Icons? We know how incredibly talented Stiletto is, again, another SL product that is just incredible! Stiletto has set some very high standards for those, that pardon the pun, will follow in those gorgeous shoes! Every girl needs to own a pair of Moody's, it is a right of passage! Some incredible things have come from Stiletto Moody this year, some of my favorites are, Bare Susan, Bare Jayne, Bare Judy and my favorite Slouch boots that are such a throwback to the 1980's. Stiletto is closed for awhile while the relaunch is being prepared, there will be many surprises such as a new cosmetics line and new shoes! Whatever Stiletto touches turns to gold and I have to say that these are some of the most beautifully crafted shoes and boots in SL, Stiletto manages to captivate us all with cutting edge designs that I personally can't wait to try out! Mimikri Kit of Mimikri - When I come into Mimikri I feel like a kid in a candy store! The atmosphere in this cute little shop is so playful and really adds to the amazing designs housed inside! I discovered Mimikri looking for a gift for my good friend Mandy Mistwood, and ended up falling in love! I adore the colors this designer uses, the styles they create, so fun and trendy! I love that they make mix and match separates that can be worn together or with other items in the store or wardrobe. Some of my favorites include, Billie Ostrich Feather top, Billie Croc pants, Nova top, Kiku Spring Dress, Gigi and Seduction. These designs are a must have for your Casual Chic collection! Meghindo Romano of Meghindo's - This lady has something for every occasion! I just love her designs! She uses the most beautiful metallics, creates some of the most sensual gowns, lingerie and swimsuits in SL and her wings are really to die for!! I wore a pair in my lingerie show for MVW, you can see them on my flickr attached, omg you will love them! I love that Meg creates for the curvy, and her designs show every curve of a woman! They hug in all the right places and give that sexy hint of what is hidden underneath the layers of fabric that adorn her creations. Not only is Meghindo an amazing designer, she is a big hearted humanitarian always willing to help out for causes like cancer, for research and cures. She really is a beautiful person. I love so many designers in SL and will continue to blog about my favorites and those that I recently discover. Some of my other faves of 2010 include N-Core, their shoes are so great! BareRose, always an amazing collection of Haute, Avante Garde, stunning pieces! Morea Style, gorgeous gowns! QuickSand Skins, Rawr Adored has put out some amazing skins, I hope to cover skins in more depth in the coming months. I hope you all enjoyed this coverage of my faves of 2010!
